Next Stop Pudsey for Allenbuild


The new state-of-the-art town centre bus station will provide high quality facilities in line with Metro’s other modern, award winning West Yorkshire bus stations.

The new six stand bus station will provide higher levels of comfort and security including a new passenger island with central enclosed waiting area together with real-time electronic information and CCTV.

The new station will include:-

* New seating and lighting
* Improved accessibility and queuing arrangements
* Central covered night stand area

In addition to the bus station the development will also include improved highways arrangements with new footpaths and crossing points, and improved traffic flow on Church Lane.

In order to minimise disruption to the town centre, the works are due to be carried out in three stages, with the project due for completion by September 2010.
