Description

Construction of 3 RC blocks of 5 and 6-storey buildings of 74 shared and rented flats and commercial unit, and including landscaping.

The site is located close to the North Terminal of the Woolwich Ferry.

Photovoltaic panels are mounted on each of the three blocks. These panels contribute to the Carbon Reductions for the Site, reduced energy consumption, and provide revenue via the import/export meter installed on the Landlords 3-phase meters.

With the soon to be introduced Feed in Tariff commencing April this year the financial benefit for generating electricity on site will also increase. Allenbuild are assisting the Client in obtaining the BRE LCBP Phase 2, 50% grant for Micro generation.
